Stephen Smith / Neasden Control Centre, often referred to as NCC, is an innovative illustrator and graphic artist.
NCC is renowned for its distinctive style that seamlessly blends hand-drawn elements, organic patterns, vibrant colours, hand drawn and digital techniques. NCC's work often possess a whimsical yet thought-provoking quality.
Stephen Smith, founder of Neasden Control Centre, hails from a background rooted in illustration, graphic design and fine art having studied at The University of the West of England and Brighton University. His diverse skill set and relentless pursuit of artistic expression has enabled him to collaborate with a wide range of international clients, including renowned brands, cultural institutions, and editorial publications.
NCC's work transcends traditional boundaries. From large-scale murals and installations to book covers and editorial illustrations, his creations are characterised by a distinct visual language that evokes emotions, sparks imagination, and challenges conventional norms.
